Business Insurance Policies Should be Reviewed for 2014 – VA, DC, MD

- Friday, December 13, 2013

The New Year is quickly approaching and many companies are reviewing their budgets. This is the perfect time to have the  business insurance policy reviewed as well. Certainly it should be reviewed if you company has changed in any way over the last year, or if you are a business owner who has only been able to renew your business insurance policy for the last few years. Make your company a New Year’s Resolution to have your commercial policy reviewed. It may save you money, but it may certainly save your business in the event of a loss.

If your business insurance policy was purchased directly from a large insurance provider you should most certainly have that policy reviewed by an insurance broker.  A business Insurance broker has more options and more ability to make you a custom-designed insurance policy that will meet your needs and your budget. Insurance brokers are able write insurance policies from any number of providers in order to give our business the best coverage for the best value.

When an insurance broker reviews your business insurance policy you may find that you need to increase your coverage or add coverage. Additionally, you may also find that you can decrease your coverage because your business may be over insured.

As you review your budget for 2014, make a plan and a commitment to have your business insurance reviewed. Contact TriState Business Insurance.
